My New (to me) Chair

I'm the proud new owner of a reupholstered wingback. In case you've forgotten, here's what it looked like before.

After working a little magic on the chair's legs, I scheduled a pick up from the re-upholsterer.

Here's what it looks like now, only a week later!

I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out!

Oh my gosh, this looks so good! This looks so so so good.

Honestly.

Do you mind if I ask what it costs to reupholster a chair like that? I always see chairs I love but just don't have the patience or inclination to reupholster a chair myself. Just curious.

I love that chair now. You picked a great neutral fabric so that you can put it anywhere. I found you over at Debbie's party. I am your latest follower. I would love for you to come and check out my blog and follow me back at www.diybydesign.blogspot.com. Thanks so much.

Good job Carrie- looks great! You saved it from a dump somewhere. I like the pillow too. I was going to email you about Debbie's party- glad you found it!

You got it back already?! Awesome - success!! It looks beautiful, love the fabric and the darker legs...so pretty! Now you know you can use this upholsterer again for future projects, that's a great feeling:)

PS. Just watched the first episode of Sarah's Summer House that I had DVRed! Wow, that addition was amazing, the views were unbelievable! I like that its actually her and her husband's house. That little island they are on is so cute.

Wow! I didn't see your chair earlier (I am way behind on my blog reading). I love it!!! The fabric you chose is perfect. It looks incredible in the space, and the pop of the leopard pillow works beautifully.
