Mark Your Calendar

You'd have thought I won the lottery when I got a postcard in the mail for the Neighborhoods of Newport House Tour.  For $35 (or $40 if you purchase your ticket after April 27th), the general public is allowed entry into six of Newport, Rhode Island's private residences. The tour is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th 10am-4pm and proceeds benefit the Parents Association of St. Michaels Country Day School. For more information on the tour and the homes, click here.

I am as excited as a 4th grader waiting for Christmas morning. Will April 29th ever get here???

I LOVE home tours. I'm such a lookie loo. And Newport is one of my favorite cities. There's just something about it. It helps that I spent a couple of the best months of my life there.

Oh, what gorgeous homes. I love good home tours and there haven't been as many around here in the past few years.

I'd be all over this. Can you take photos? If I didn't already have a busy weekend I might meet you up there for it.

Ummm, no it won't ever get here. (I'm that person that tells kids there isn't Santa.....okay, not really but I do want to tell the bratty ones.)

I love snooping through people's houses so this looks awesome!!

Can't wait to hear your review. We usually go to Newport every August for a short vacation. I always see information for the "Private Gardens" tour. Have you ever done that one? Sadly for me, it is always in September...and who can do that when the kids are in school?

Wow, those houses are beautiful!

There's nothing I love more than creeping on someone else's house too. April 29th will be here before you know it!

Oh, I am so excited for you! Take lots of pictures! My friend and I did a weekend up there about 10 years ago and did the mansion tour. It's so funny how they call them "cottages". Have fun...April 29th is just around the corner!
