That's right, it is THAT easy!
I'll break it down for you.
I purchased 2 inexpensive flat twin sized cotton sheets. The length of twin sheets are universally 96 inches, which is exactly what I needed to get the floor to ceiling height I wanted.
I also wanted the curtain to hang like actual drapes from the rod, instead of from the usual shower curtain rings.
I got that by cutting tabs out of the top hem of the sheet, 2 inches per tab and about 5 inches between. I used pinking shears to cut the tabs so that they wouldn't fray. I left all the other hems on the sheets intact. No sewing!
Then I used fabric glue to adhere the trim to the inside of each panel. Still no sewing!
Then Chris mounted a double shower rod and I hung both of the panels on the outside rod. A 96 inch long plastic shower curtain liner hangs from the inner rod. It couldn't have been easier, and I am so happy with the way it came out.
By now you've probably noticed that the bathroom is looking pretty much done :)
Just a few more finishing touches and we'll be ready to share the reveal on Monday.
Have a great weekend!

Gaa!! No sewing!! I think I even have fabric glue at home too. Where did you buy your trim from? Can't wait to see the final photos and all styled up - can I come visit now? Have a great weekend!
it looks awesome and so glam and classic, too! whenever i see shower curtains that open in the middle it kinda makes me want to dance in the shower all smooth and then stick my leg out.... bow chicka bow bow!
but seriously, love the curtains!
Seriously so pretty! Your bathroom is like a mini spa!
I've been waiting for this post. I love the way it looks like a curtain and not a shower curtain. And love the fancy shmancy trim. Can't wait for the big reveal. I know I'm going to be totally envious;)
Wow! It looks awesome...I am loving the subway tile too!
Love that it doesn't require sewing (not in my bag of talents). Looks great.
Fabulous Carrie...look like something from a custom workroom...maybe you'll be taking clients?!!! Can't wait for Monday's reveal!
OMG that is such a good idea! I can't wait to see the reveal Monday, eeee!!!!!
Perfectly executed, Carrie! It looks great.
Oh my gosh you are THE smartest!!
I love that beautiful custom look of hanging them from double rods - so, so clever and high-end.
You answered a question I've had for awhile. I didn't understand how the double curtain thing worked. Where do you put the liner? But I totally get it now. Now I'm pondering my shower curtain debacle in my guest bathroom....Hmmm.....Carrie is a genius!
This is such a fancy bathroom! Wow a super no-sew project! Love it.
I have been wanting an extra long shower curtain. Thanks for sharing. I love the no sewing part!
Beautiful! I will definitely be back on Monday. :)
Brilliant! I love the simplicity but it's also very high end looking. Great job!!!!
Carrie, you are brilliant! I absolutely love this and it meets my no sewing requirements. I am stealing this idea!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Looks awesome! I love the floor to ceiling curtains and am considering using some for our main bathroom.
Love it. They look super sophisticated (said with a super sophisticated accent, of course :))
Wow. You would never know that those are sheets and you didn't sew a thing. Your bathroom is looking so glamorous. Your guests are very lucky.
It's beautiful, Carrie! Love the Greek key trim. Had always wondered about sheets for regular curtains but never would have though of the whole shower curtain thing..such a good idea. And no sew? Sign me up:) Can't wait to see the pics on Monday! You guys are banging through these renos so quickly!!
HEY, EVEN I COULD DO THIS! You are really amazing. I love the Greek key trim.

WOW. Just wow. HUGE bang-for-the-buck and a very expensive-looking end result! Love it!!

Love how the shower curtains look! And even better that it's a easy project!
You are seriously my hero! This looks amazing! And any project that doesn't involve sewing (I don't know how!!) makes me inspired! I love the trim you chose. I am ready to be your guest. :)
love it! Trim makes everything better, and sheets are genius.
Beautiful. I just pinned a similar 2-sided shower curtain. It was the first (and now second) time ever seeing this but it's so clever. I'm tagging you in a game on Monday so pop by:)
Amazing! It looks wonderful!
I knew it would be beautiful and it is. Y'all do such good work together.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Love.
Genius to do the double rods. Nice job!
Yay! I found it! Hope you don't mind, but I'm totally copying this idea. It's just what I was hoping to do to cover up an ugly shower door in our guest bath. Hope I don't screw it up :)
Freaking brilliant...who knew...sheets!
Gorgeous! I love how rich it looks. I totally wish I could do this but we have one of those ugly shower kits. I want to eventually do the subway tile but for now I have to settle for what I have. So simple & gorgeous!
This is an absolutely fabulous idea!
Oh yeah! I love a no sew project! I had to pin this bad boy!

Now, you won’t have an excuse for not doing your own DIY shower curtain. If you don’t know how to sew, you can rely on fabric glue! Hahaha. Got the rhyme there? :p Anyhow, what you did there was fantastic. It looks simple yet elegant.

Is the trim on both sides of the sheets or just the inner part?

I only used trim on the inner part.
