Work Hard, Play Hard
Last week Chris and I took off to sunny Jamaica for a little break.
We went to the same resort we went to last year, Couples Sans Souci in Ochos Rios. One of the reasons I love Sans Souci so much is its nod to British Colonial architecture throughout the resort.
See those beach chairs below? This is where Chris and I spent the majority of our time. We had this little spot all to ourselves. Heaven.

Our next vacay is to the Grand Canyon in September! I think 50% of the fun of vacation is planning/anticipating them!
Did you love Couples? We have stayed at Couples Ochos Rios once and the one in Negril twice. I'd love to visit Sans Souci now that I've seen your pictures. We thought the service at both resorts was extraordinary. My husband surprised me with a vow renewal ceremony and the staff was so accommodating, they handled all the details via email prior to our visit. Glad you had such a great time.
i have never been to jamaica but would love to go! costa rica was where we went and had the best time and i dream of taking the kids there.

Um, I think I started drooling looking at these pics. They are amazing amazing amazing !! I've been dreaming of a getaway for so long now but ya know, we gotta finish that whole lil' house project we've got going on. That said, I think I'd go literally ANYWHERE at this point!
Ahhh...what a perfect spot to get-away to! We are heading to the Dominican Republic in a couple of weeks, after our boys are out of school. Have never been before...hope it is as wonderful as your vacation. Thanks for sharing!!
We *loved* Couples Sans Souci. Our room was at the very top of the hill overlooking the mineral pool area out to the ocean. The climb back up from the beach was brutal, but it helped with all the food we ate. :-)

Ugh, I'm so jealous. That looks so relaxing. I would love to go somewhere similar and do absolutely nothing.

So glad you guys got away!! You definitely deserved a break! This place looks amazing. The only spot I've been to in the Caribbean is the Bahamas. Would love to check out Jamaica!! We are not heading up to PEI, Canada this year. I'm hoping to get to London sometime soon to visit my sister:) Glad you're back!
Your pictures are beautiful! I'd love to visit this resort - it also looks nice and secluded/private not crowded at all - just our speed. I've had a few friends stay here and they've loved it. You guys deserve a nice relaxing trip!

Looks like Paradise! In August we're off to exotic Chatham on the sparkling shores of Cape Cod.....how I wish they really were! Well, the Cape can sparkle, at times.
This is so dreamy. We are going to London next month for a friend's birthday...sort of a different vacation from yours :)
