I did a stool this weekend too and it came out…um…interestingly? Love the color and fabric you chose - it looks great! Makes me want to rip off the fabric and redo mine :)
Our Salvation Army has new management and they jacked the prices up on everything....like that stool would be $60. No joke. I haven't been for a few months for that reason.
Oh man, that looks really great! Like they came together!
I just bought some plants off of craigslist...so my most recent weekend projects involve repotting them and hunting down proper ceramic pots for them. Pretty exciting.
It looks beautiful and SUPER EXPENSIVE looking! U made it sound so simple ... I know sanding, priming, painting, stapling, fighting w/fabric holding it still, photoshooting DIYs take me a while :) Bravo!

Quick and easy weekend projects are the best kind. $12 never looked so good!

Great fabric choice...I have so many projects that need to be done. Hopefully next weekend.
Thanks Denise. I got them on www.etsy.com. Search on "hot house flowers".

That fabric is really awesome, so graphic and modern. Love it!
Okay, do tell. What is the paint colour used? Did you seal afterwards or just paint? It looks so fantastic and I"m such a sucker for that fabric.
Hi Carol, it is Valspar's Ebony Field. I just painted it, no sealer.
