i love it! so sophisticated and chic!
I did a stool this weekend too and it came out…um…interestingly? Love the color and fabric you chose - it looks great! Makes me want to rip off the fabric and redo mine :)
Oooo, I like! Our Salvation Army has new management and they jacked the prices up on everything....like that stool would be $60. No joke. I haven't been for a few months for that reason.
Quick and easy weekend projects are the best kind. $12 never looked so good!
looks awesome! I made a shower curtain yesterday and it was quicker/easier than I thought it would be.
Looks great! Awesome job!!
It's a cutie. Love it with the rug.
You always choose such beautiful fabrics!

Great fabric choice...I have so many projects that need to be done. Hopefully next weekend.
Thanks Denise. I got them on www.etsy.com. Search on "hot house flowers".
I love that you just posted a nine-word tutorial. And it turned out perfect!
That looks so fantastic!!! And that DIY project would so not be easy for someone like me. Great job!
Love love easy projects! They are so satisfying! The chair and footstool are gorgeous!
omg that's amazing! i wish i had some weekend projects that were easy :(.That fabric is really awesome, so graphic and modern. Love it!
Okay, do tell. What is the paint colour used? Did you seal afterwards or just paint? It looks so fantastic and I"m such a sucker for that fabric.
Hi Carol, it is Valspar's Ebony Field. I just painted it, no sealer.
Oh man, that looks really great! Like they came together!I just bought some plants off of craigslist...so my most recent weekend projects involve repotting them and hunting down proper ceramic pots for them. Pretty exciting.
Seriously, it looks like they belong together- love this!
Wow, that is gorgeous! I love the fabric, the paint and it's amazing how the two look like they're were made to be together! Great job :)
That stool was made for that chair! Looks fabulous!
It looks beautiful and SUPER EXPENSIVE looking! U made it sound so simple ... I know sanding, priming, painting, stapling, fighting w/fabric holding it still, photoshooting DIYs take me a while :) Bravo!
I love it! Wish I'd find some cute little projects like that! Love how you did it.Nancyhttp://wildoakdesigns.blogspot.com
