Ready...Set...

Not quite go time yet, but we're close.
Our contractor is busy pulling permits and Chris and I have been busy packing up.
We've also been doing some shopping.
Chris ordered all the things he's excited about like our sink and our prep sink, disposals, and a water filter that will run through the main faucet. Meanwhile, I ordered everything that I'm excited about, like the faucet, lighting and the CABINETS!

These are the gray and white color samples we chose for the cabinetry (we decided on the door profile on the left).
Our pendants and sconces have already arrived!
I also ordered a faucet and a bar faucet that are on backorder. I had been searching everywhere for a bridge faucet with a polished nickel finish but couldn't find anything I liked under $1000.
Why polished nickel? Because I think that the yellow undertones will play nicely with the brass lighting fixtures.   I'm hoping the ones I found at Signature Hardware aren't too good to be true...
Get this, my order for 2 polished nickel faucets, a sprayer, and a soap dispenser came in well under $500. Seriously.

With a savings like that, someone's gonna be able to get her Subzero after all :)

Soooo, polished nickel. We chose it for our master bathroom. The faucets are ridiculously hard to keep clean. I haven't found anything that will keep them from looking spotty. Tell me you have a magic answer because those faucets are beautiful! As are your lights!

We've ordered several things from Signature Hardware, including a vintage tub faucet and a clawfoot tub shower conversion kit, and have been so happy with them. I can't wait to see how it all turns out! :)

How exciting. Wish I was close enough to buy the cabinet in the top picture from you. I love everything about it.

Hope everything goes smoothly for you.

Beautiful choices. I'm partial though because these are very similar to my kitchen choices. Great minds:)

Nice and just in time to cook outside on the grill! Your kitchen will look great. Just remember, as you deal with the dust and debris, it's the end result that counts. I'm looking forward to the progress pics.

Nice choice of color for your cabinets! White doors can be quite hard to manage, as it gets dirty easily. We all know that kitchens are prone to dirt, so that was a good choice right there. Though it's cute that you and Chris had a pet sink and faucets, and I assume they'll look great together. Faucets and sinks should complement each other. It'd look weird if they don't, and may even end up looking like an eyesore in the long run. Anyway, have fun with your renovation!
